New travel guidance Scot Rail

We’re issuing new guidance to help you play your part and stay safe while travelling with ScotRail.   If you need to travel   It’s still important to use our trains for essential journeys only. If you do need to travel, we’ve made some changes to help everyone get around safely:
• We are asking you to please wear a face covering when travelling by train
• To allow more opportunities for key workers and essential travellers to observe physical distancing, from Monday 1 June we’re adding a small number of extra peak time services to our timetable
• We’re also supporting physical distancing with floor markings and signage in our largest stations. Some facilities (like waiting rooms) will remain closed   Plan ahead   You can expect to see an increase in the time it takes to buy a ticket at a station and board a train, and there might be occasions over the coming months when boarding your usual train might not be possible, so please plan ahead.
